Give your bedrooms a make-over with new, custom made, sliding or hinged wardrobe doors. Choose from a range of designs painted in polyurethane in a colour to match your interiors.
Doors can be for new built in wardrobes or replacement doors for an existing wardrobe. Blum hinges, tracks, handles and other accessories can also be supplied. We deliver in the Sydney metropolitan area or by crate Australia wide. Your new polyurethane painted doors can be ready in approx. 15 working days!
We supply doors to the trade and general public (ever since 1998) but we don’t measure or install them, so if you need help, you can contact an installer here. The orange headings below describe the steps to go through to choose, quote and order your new doors.
1. Choose Your Door Design
The first thing you need to do to get your new custom made wardrobe doors underway is to decide on the style; will the doors have a design or not? Do you want mirrored doors or doors with white glass inserted? Scroll through the options available by hovering over the thumbnails below. Click on any of images to enlarge them. Door designs within a range are all the same price, depending on size. Mirror or glass is additional. When you are ready for a quote, fill in a Quote form on the “Quote or Order” page.

2. Choose Your Door Layout
The door design you have chosen above, can be cut into the door in the following layouts. If you have chosen doors without a pattern the layout will be “0”. End panels without a pattern and fillers will be layout 0 and mirror or glass framed doors will be layout 1.
3. Choose Sliding or Hinged Wardrobe Doors
If you prefer sliding doors, you can order them as plain doors, with one or more designs on their face or as mirror or glass framed doors. We can fit mirror, white (with a greenish tinge) or superwhite glass.
We can route either a left or right or double handle recesses into the doors and supply polished chrome finish inserts at $16.50 each. Alternatively we can route a “paintable handle”, where no handle inserts are needed. TIP: Sliding doors usually are 20mm wider each, to allow for overlap of doors and 55mm shorter than the opening to allow for the height of the tracks. Double check the measurements for your own installation requirements.
We can supply full track kits for sliding wardrobe doors including top and bottom tracks with wheels and head guides at
$176 per double track up to 3700mm long
$220 per double track up to 4800mm long
$330 per triple track up to 4800mm long
Tracks can be ordered in various metallic finishes or powder coated colours which can be viewed on the Wardrobe door accessories page.
If you would like hinged wardrobe doors, we can the drill hinge holes and supply BLUM soft closing hinges at $8.25 each or standard hinges at $7.15 each. As they are quite heavy, we recommend 5 hinges per wardrobe door. If you are supplying your own hinges, we can drill hinge holes in the Blum or Hettich hinge hole pattern. If you are supplying the hinges, we will also require the measurements of the hinge hole positions. Measurements are not required if we are supplying new hinges.
Angled Top Doors
If you have doors that are under a staircase or sloping ceiling we can supply angled top doors. You will need to supply the height of both the left and right sides of each door.
4. Choose Your Door thickness
The standard wardrobe door thickness is 18mm. For a more solid door, you may request 25mm thickness at additional cost. Sliding doors in 25mm thickness have less gaps between them. 25mm doors also require wheel cut outs to the back of each door. Wheels are supplied as part of the track kit if ordered. The door base material is Australian made, moisture resistant E0 medium density fibre board (MDF) which is spray painted in polyurethane.
Wardrobe Door Edges
“Door edges” refers to the shape of the edges around the perimeter of the door. The standard edges for wardrobe doors are 3mm pencil edges. This edge type is included free in the cost of the door. Other edge types are available at additional cost.
5. Choose Your Paint Colour and Finish
Your choice of colours is virtually unlimited as you can choose from any of the major Australian paint brands such as Dulux, Taubmans, Wattyl etc to perfectly match your interiors. Simply visit your local paint or hardware store and advise us of the brand and colour or code. Alternatively, you can choose never out of style white, which is our only standard colour. There is a one off $77 fee per custom colour.
Next you can choose the finish of your doors, from satin, matt or high gloss. Satin is currently the most popular finish. It is easy to clean and doesn’t show finger marks as much as gloss does. Even if you’re not sure of your colour yet, you can get a quote from us to see how much you can save by going straight to the manufacturer for new doors.
Polyurethane is the most popular and hard wearing paint finish for wardrobe doors. It is durable and easy to care for, needing just a wipe over with a soft, damp cloth moistened in warm, soapy water. Never use any scouring sponges or abrasive cleaners as these will damage the surface. The paint is sprayed onto the face and all 4 edges of the doors and panels unless otherwise requested.
Painting End Panels
The painting of end panels is often a little different to the painting of doors because, in addition to the front of the panel being visible, some or all of the back, may be visible and may need to be painted. If so, you will need to specify this in your order. You can choose either a 100mm strip painted on the left or right side of the back (or both), or the full back and front painted.
For Trade Professionals and DIY – Unpainted Doors
Doors may be ordered in 18 or 21mm single sided or raw both sides if you are hand painting them. If they are raw both sides, both the face and back of the doors must be painted to prevent bowing. The choice of raw or single sided MDF must be specified when ordering otherwise double sided white satin material will be used. Doors and panels supplied unpainted in the white satin base material are meant to be finished in a professionally prepared 2-pack polyurethane or similar coating system. Water based paints do not tend to bond easily to melamine surface and as such, the use of acrylic or domestic oil based paint is not recommended. Unpainted doors will be ready for delivery or collection in approx. 5 working days and painted doors in approx. 15 working days.
