Your choice of colours is virtually unlimited as you can choose from any of the major Australian paint brands such as Dulux, Taubmans, British Paints, Wattyl or Hymes to perfectly match your interiors. Simply visit your local paint or hardware store and advise us of the brand and colour or code. Alternatively, you can choose the always fashionable white, which is our only standard colour. There is a one off $77 fee per custom colour.
Next you can choose the finish of your doors, from either satin, matt, semi or high gloss. The satin finish is currently the much popular, being easy to clean and it doesn’t show finger marks as much as gloss does. Even if you’re not sure of your colour yet, you can get a quote from us to see how much you can save by going straight to the manufacturer for new doors.
Polyurethane Paint
Polyurethane is the most popular and hard wearing paint finish for kitchen doors. It is durable and easy to care for, needing just a wipe over with a soft, damp cloth moistened in warm, soapy water. Never use any scouring sponges or abrasive cleaners as these will damage the surface. The paint is applied (sprayed) onto the face and all 4 edges of the doors and panels unless otherwise requested.
Painting End Panels
The painting of end panels is often a little different to the painting of doors because, in addition to the front of the panel being visible, some or all of the back, may be visible and need to be painted. If so, you will need to specify this in your order. You can choose either a 100mm strip painted on the left, right, top and/or bottom of the back, or the full back and front painted.
